My deep involvement in nationalization has been a constant thread running throughout my career since 1980. I lead 3 major nationalization initiatives, in Nigeria, UAE and in Kazakhstan, each was a notable success, within 3 years achieving maximum levels of nationalization, in 2 of the 3 cases I ultimately replacing myself with a national.
